Ingredients
  

Chicken and Seasoning
  • 1.5 to 2 pounds boneless chicken thighs or chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces Choose thighs for juicier bites or breast for leaner meat.
  • 1 tsp garlic powder Adds concentrated garlic flavor.
  • 1 tsp onion powder Provides savory depth.
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning A dried herb blend.
  • 0.5 tsp red pepper flakes Optional, for heat.
  • 0.5 tsp salt Adjust to taste.
  • 0.25 tsp black pepper Freshly ground is best.
For the Sauce
  • 4-5 cloves garlic, minced Gives the sauce its punch.
  • 2-3 tbsp parsley, chopped Adds color and herbaceous finish.
  • 2 tbsp olive oil For searing the chicken.
  • 2 tbsp butter Creates a rich garlic butter sauce.
  • 1 tbsp hot sauce Optional for extra kick.
  • 0.5 cup chicken broth For a thinner sauce.
  • 1 each lemon wedges Squeeze before serving.
  • Parmesan cheese Optional for creamy finish.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Cut the chicken into bite-sized pieces and pat dry with paper towels.
  2. In a bowl, season the chicken with garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes if using. Toss to coat evenly.
Cooking Chicken
  1. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add 1 tbsp olive oil.
  2. Place the chicken in a single layer and cook for 4 to 5 minutes on one side until golden brown.
  3. Flip the chicken and cook for another 4 to 5 minutes until fully cooked, reaching an internal temperature of 165°F.
  4. Transfer the chicken to a plate and set aside.
Making the Sauce
  1. In the same skillet, add butter and the remaining olive oil. Once melted, add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  2. Pour in the chicken broth and let it simmer for 1 to 2 minutes to reduce.
Finishing Touches
  1. Add the cooked chicken back into the skillet and toss to coat with the garlic butter sauce.
  2. Stir in chopped parsley and hot sauce if using. Finish with a squeeze of fresh lemon juice and a sprinkle of Parmesan cheese if desired.
  3. Serve warm.
