Method

Preparation
  1. Gather all ingredients: 1 cup of fruit juice, 2 tablespoons of gelatin powder, and optional sweetener. Ensure your workspace is clean.
  2. In a small saucepan, pour in half a cup of cold water. Sprinkle the gelatin powder over the water and let it sit for about 5 minutes to bloom.
  3. Gradually heat the saucepan over low heat, stirring continuously until the gelatin has fully dissolved (about 3-4 minutes). Avoid boiling!
  4. In a separate bowl, mix your fruit juice (and sweetener, if using) with the remaining half cup of water, then pour this mixture into the dissolved gelatin.
  5. Pour the mixture into small molds or an 8x8-inch pan for easy slicing once set.
  6. Refrigerate for about 4 hours or until set. The gelatin should feel firm but soft to the touch.
  7. Once solid, cut into bite-sized pieces and enjoy your homemade gelatin snack cold and refreshing.
