- In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add your chosen pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Once done, drain and set aside, reserving a little pasta water for later.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef, breaking it apart with a spatula. Cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes, and drain excess fat.
- Add the chopped onion to the skillet with the beef. Cook for 3-4 minutes or until translucent, then stir in the minced garlic.
- Pour in the beef broth and bring to a simmer. Let it reduce for about 2-3 minutes. Lower the heat, then gradually stir in the heavy cream and Parmesan cheese.
- Gently fold in the cooked pasta, ensuring that every piece is coated in that luxurious sauce. Let it sit on low heat for another 2-3 minutes.
- Taste and adjust the seasoning with salt and black pepper. Serve hot, garnished with freshly chopped parsley and an extra sprinkle of Parmesan on top.
