Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 2 tablespoons Gelatin Powder Provides texture and stability.
  • 1 cup Water Used to dissolve and activate the gelatin.
Optional Flavorings
  • 1/4 cup Fruit Juice or Flavorings For added taste and aroma.
  • 1-2 tablespoons Sweeteners (Honey or Agave Syrup) Enhances sweetness while keeping calories low.

Method

Preparation
  1. Gather your ingredients: gelatin powder, water, and any flavorings or sweeteners you desire.
  2. Bloom the gelatin: In a bowl, sprinkle the gelatin powder over a small amount of cold water (about 1/4 cup). Let it sit for 5-10 minutes until it swells and absorbs the water.
  3. Heat water: In a saucepan, heat 1 cup of water until it's hot but not boiling. This should take about 2-3 minutes.
  4. Combine gelatin and water: Add the bloomed gelatin to the hot water. Stir until completely dissolved. The mixture should be clear and free of lumps.
  5. Add flavorings: If you’re using fruit juice or sweeteners, add them now. Stir well to combine and ensure everything is mixed evenly.
  6. Pour into molds: Carefully pour your gelatin mixture into molds or a dish.
  7. Chill: Place in the refrigerator for 4 hours or until set. Once ready, it should possess a firm, jiggly texture.
