  • 1 cup hot water or herbal tea Herbal tea adds flavor and aroma.
  • 1-2 teaspoons fresh lemon or lime juice For bright acidity and balance.
  • 1 teaspoon honey or maple syrup For sweetness; can use liquid stevia for zero-calorie option.
  • a pinch sea salt Optional, to enhance overall flavor.
Optional Ingredients
  • 1 teaspoon chia seeds For texture boost.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Sprinkle the gelatin into a small bowl to prevent clumps and allow for even hydration.
  2. Heat the liquid to around 160 to 180°F, avoiding boiling.
  3. Pour a few tablespoons of hot liquid over the gelatin and stir until smooth.
  4. Add lemon juice and sweetener while warm, stirring well to dissolve.
  5. Combine with remaining hot liquid, pour into a cup and refrigerate for 1-2 hours, or enjoy warm.

Notes
