- Transfer prepared salad to an airtight container immediately after serving.
- Refrigerate and consume within 3 days.
- Do not freeze—thawing causes watery texture and loss of quality.
- If making ahead, prepare up to 24 hours before serving for best results.
- Discard leftovers if left out at room temperature for more than 2 hours.
- Before serving, stir gently and add a few fresh mandarin slices for presentation.
