  • 1 lb chicken tenders Fresh or thawed
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil Can substitute with avocado oil
Seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika Regular paprika can be used as a substitute
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano Or mixed Italian herbs
  • Salt and pepper To taste

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Rinse the chicken tenders under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels.
  2. In a bowl, combine olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, oregano, salt, and pepper.
  3. Add the chicken tenders to the bowl and toss them until evenly coated with the marinade. Let them marinate for at least 15 minutes or up to 2 hours in the refrigerator.
Cooking
  1. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
  2. Place the marinated chicken tenders in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Do not overcrowd the basket.
  3. Air fry the chicken tenders for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until they reach an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
  4. Remove the tenders from the air fryer and let them rest for a couple of minutes before serving.

Notes
