Ingredients
  

  • 0.5 tsp ground ginger or 3–4 fresh slices
  • 0.5 lemon, juiced
  • 0.5 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 pinch cayenne pepper
  • 1 green tea or peppermint tea bag (optional)
  • 1 cup hot filtered water (not boiling)
  • 1 tsp raw honey or stevia (optional)

Method
 

  1. Add ginger, cinnamon, and cayenne to your mug.
  2. Pour hot water over the dry spices.
  3. Add lemon juice and steep a green tea or mint bag, if using.
  4. Let steep for 3–5 minutes.
  5. Stir well and sweeten to taste.
