Ingredients
  

  • 1 box chocolate cake mix 15.25 oz
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 2 cups milk
  • 3 large eggs room temperature
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 cups mini peanut butter cups halved
  • 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup peanut butter chips

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease or line a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  2. In a bowl, mix cake mix, melted butter, 1/2 cup peanut butter, milk, eggs, and vanilla until just combined.
  3. Pour batter into the prepared dish. Drizzle remaining 1/2 cup warmed peanut butter over the top and swirl with a knife.
  4. Sprinkle half the peanut butter cups, chocolate chips, and peanut butter chips over the batter.
  5. Bake for 35-40 minutes or until a toothpick comes out with moist crumbs. Sprinkle remaining peanut butter cups on top during last 5 minutes of baking.
  6. Cool for 20 minutes before serving for the best texture.
