Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13 inch pan.
- Pour most of the pecan halves into the greased pan.
- Sprinkle the brown sugar over the pecans.
- Drizzle the corn syrup over the brown sugar.
- In a bowl, whisk the eggs with vanilla and pour the mixture over the layers.
- Evenly sprinkle the yellow cake mix on top, do not stir.
- Melt the butter and drizzle it over the cake mix.
Baking
- Bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes until golden and firm with a slight jiggle in the center.
Serving
- Let it cool slightly before serving. Enjoy warm or at room temperature.
