Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a saucepan, combine the butter and brown sugar over medium heat. Stir continuously until bubbling and caramel colored, about 6-8 minutes.
- On a parchment-lined baking sheet, lay out the club crackers in a single layer.
- Once the toffee is ready, remove it from heat and stir in the vanilla extract. Pour the warm toffee over the crackers and sprinkle chopped pecans on top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 5-7 minutes, watching closely to prevent burning.
- After baking, let cool for about 10 minutes and sprinkle sea salt on top.
- Once cooled, cut or break into pieces and serve.
