Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Spread one layer of club crackers over the prepared baking sheet, ensuring they are close together but not overlapping.
Toffee Creation
  1. In a small saucepan, melt 1 cup of butter over medium heat.
  2. Stir in 1 cup of brown sugar until fully dissolved to create a smooth toffee sauce.
  3. Mix in 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract and stir continuously for about 2 minutes until the mixture is bubbling and thickening.
Assembly
  1. Pour the toffee sauce evenly over the crackers using a spatula to spread it gently.
  2. Top with 1 cup of chopped pecans, pressing them down slightly.
Baking
