Preparation
- In a medium-sized bowl, combine the softened butter, grated Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning. Mix until smooth and well blended.
- Spread the butter mixture evenly over one side of each slice of bread. Arrange the bread slices butter side up on a sheet tray.
Cooking
- Heat a skillet over medium-low heat. Place one slice of bread, butter side down, in the skillet.
- Layer on a slice of mozzarella cheese, followed by 6 slices of pepperoni, another slice of mozzarella, 6 more slices of pepperoni, and finish with a final slice of mozzarella.
- Top with another slice of bread, butter side up. Cook until the bottom slice is golden brown, about 3-5 minutes.
- Carefully flip the sandwich and cook the other side until golden brown and the cheese is fully melted.
- Remove from the skillet and repeat with the remaining ingredients to make additional sandwiches.
Serving
- Serve the Pizza Grilled Cheese immediately with warm pizza sauce for dipping.

Notes
Keep your skillet at medium-low heat to avoid burning the bread while ensuring the cheese melts thoroughly. Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. Reheat in a skillet to maintain crispiness. For a flavor twist, try adding sliced olives or bell peppers to your sandwiches using the same cheese and pepperoni as a base.
