Base Ingredients
  • 1 sheet sheet of puff pastry (Thawed) Must be flaky and tender for the best base.
Sauce and Cheese
  • 1 cup pizza sauce Homemade or store-bought.
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (mozzarella or favorite blend) Provides gooey richness.
Toppings
  • to taste Toppings of your choice (e.g., pepperoni, bell peppers, mushrooms, onions) Customize with your favorites.
  • to brush Olive oil (for brushing) Enhances color and flavor.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. On a lightly floured surface, roll out the thawed puff pastry sheet to a rectangle about 1/4 inch thick.
  3. Carefully place the rolled-out pastry onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. With a sharp knife, lightly score a border around the edges of the rolled pastry, about 1 inch in from the edge.
  5. Spread the pizza sauce inside the border and sprinkle with shredded cheese.
  6. Pile on your chosen toppings, pressing them down slightly.
  7. Brush the exposed pastry edges with olive oil.
Baking
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until the edges are golden brown.
  2. Allow it to cool slightly before slicing.

Notes
