  • 1 pound scallops Sweet and tender, they add richness to the dish.
  • 1 pound shrimp (peeled and deveined) Juicy and firm, they enhance the seafood experience.
Creamy Sauce Ingredients
  • 2 cups Swiss cheese (shredded) Adds creaminess and a nutty flavor that melds perfectly with the sauce.
  • 1 cup heavy cream Gives the casserole its rich texture; substitute with half-and-half for a lighter version.
  • 2 tablespoons butter For sautéing and adding depth to the sauce; use olive oil as a substitute if desired.
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice Brightens the dish and balances the richness.
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder For an extra kick.
  • to taste Salt and pepper Essential for seasoning.

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) to ensure the casserole cooks evenly.

  2. Spoon the seafood mixture into a greased 9x13 baking dish. Spread it out evenly, then sprinkle the remaining Swiss cheese over the top.
  3. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes until the top is golden and bubbly.
  4. Let it sit for a few minutes before serving to allow the flavors to meld.
