For the Pasta
  • 4 cups cooked bowtie (farfalle) pasta Tender pasta that holds the sauce.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat until shimmering.
  2. Add the diced bell peppers and onion. Cook until softened and slightly browned, about 5 to 7 minutes.
  3. Push vegetables to side and stir in ground beef. Cook until browned, about 6 to 8 minutes. Drain excess fat if necessary.
  4. Add minced garlic, pasta sauce, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Stir to combine.
  5. Let simmer for about 3 to 5 minutes.
Finish the Dish
  1. Stir in the cooked bowtie pasta, mixing until well combined and coated with sauce. Add reserved pasta water if needed.
  2. Cook for an additional 2 to 3 minutes, then serve hot. Adjust seasoning if desired.
