Ingredients

For the Nachos Base
  • 1 bag Frozen Sweet Potato Tater Tots The star of the dish, adding a seasoned, crispy base and natural sweetness.
For Toppings
  • 1 cup Shredded Cheese (cheddar and Monterey Jack mix) Delivers the melty goodness we crave on nachos.
  • 1/2 cup Sour Cream or Greek Yogurt For creamy contrast.
  • 1 cup Guacamole Adds richness and flavor.
  • 1 cup Salsa or Pico de Gallo For additional fresh flavor layers.
  • 1/2 cup Jalapeños (optional) For added spice.
  • 2 tablespoons Chopped Green Onions For garnishing.

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Spread the frozen sweet potato tater tots on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  3. Bake for about 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.
  4. While the tater tots are baking, prepare your toppings: dice fresh vegetables for salsa, and prepare your guacamole and sour cream.
Assembly
  1. Once the tater tots are out and slightly cooled, layer them on a large platter or baking dish.
  2. First, add a layer of the crispy tater tots, then top with shredded cheese to let it melt slightly.
  3. Add your fresh toppings: dollops of guacamole, diced jalapeños, and generous scoops of salsa.
  4. Finish with a drizzle of sour cream and chopped green onions.
Final Baking
  1. Optionally, pop the assembled nachos back into the oven for 5-10 minutes to meld toppings.
  2. Serve immediately while hot.
