  • 1 pound Chicken Breasts Can be grilled, baked, or pan-cooked.
  • 4 large Tortillas Flour or corn tortillas work.
  • 1 cup Tortilla Chips Provides crunch.
  • ½ cup Queso Cheese Melted cheese like cheddar or pepper jack.
  • 1 cup Lettuce Fresh and crunchy.
  • 1 medium Tomato Chopped.
  • to taste Seasoning Taco seasoning or spices like paprika, cumin, garlic powder.

Method
 

Cooking the Chicken
  1. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Season chicken breasts with taco seasoning, then add to the skillet. Cook for about 6-8 minutes per side until fully cooked and golden brown.
Shredding the Chicken
  1. Once cooked, remove the chicken from the skillet and let it rest for a few minutes. Then, shred the chicken using two forks.
Preparing the Filling
  1. In a bowl, combine the shredded chicken, chopped tomato, and half of the queso. Mix until everything is well-coated.
Assembling the Wraps
  1. Place a large tortilla on a clean surface. In the center, add a scoop of the chicken mixture, followed by fresh lettuce and tortilla chips.
Wrapping It Up
  1. Fold the sides of the tortilla to the center, then roll it from the bottom up to form a secure wrap.
Toasting the Wrap (Optional)
  1. Place the wrap seam-side down in the skillet over medium heat for 2-3 minutes until golden and crispy.
Serving
  1. Slice the wrap in half at an angle and serve with salsa or guacamole.
