  • 2 cups Cheese Cheddar, American, or a blend.
  • 1 medium Onion, diced Adds a sweet, aromatic flavor.

  • 4 Buns, preferably toasted A crunchy outer shell.
Seasonings

Preparation
  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef for about 5-7 minutes, breaking it up with a spoon.
  2. Stir in the diced onion and minced garlic, cooking for an additional 3-4 minutes until the onion is translucent.
  3. Sprinkle in salt, pepper, and any additional spices you prefer.
  4. Lower the heat, and stir in the cheese gradually until melted and well combined (about 1-2 minutes).
  5. Toast buns lightly if desired. Spoon the cheesy beef mixture onto the bottom half of each bun and cover with the top half.
  6. For extra crispy melts, return the assembled melts to the skillet for another minute or two.
  7. Slice down the middle for easy eating and serve.
