Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, beat together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy, about 3-4 minutes.
- Add the eggs and vanilla extract, mixing until fully incorporated.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips and salted caramel chunks gently.
Baking
- Using a cookie scoop or tablespoon, drop balls of dough onto a parchment-lined baking sheet, spacing them 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 10–12 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden and the centers are still soft.
- Allow to cool on the baking sheet for about 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
