Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 1 inch Fresh Ginger Aids digestion and has anti-inflammatory properties. Substitute with ginger powder if fresh is unavailable.
  • 1/2 medium Lemon Provides vitamin C and supports hydration. Use lime as an alternative if preferred.
  • 2 cups Water Use filtered water for the best taste.

Method

Preparation
  1. Gather your ingredients: fresh ginger, a lemon, and water. Have your tools ready, including a pot, a knife, and a cup.
  2. Pour about 2 cups of water into a pot. Bring it to a boil over medium-high heat—this should take about 5-7 minutes.
  3. While the water is heating, peel a small piece of fresh ginger (about 1 inch). Slice it into thin pieces to release the flavor better.
  4. Once the water reaches a boil, remove it from the heat. Add the sliced ginger to the hot water and let it steep for about 10-15 minutes.
  5. After steeping, strain the ginger slices and pour the infused ginger water into a cup. Squeeze in the juice of half a lemon for flavor.
  6. Give it a taste. If you prefer a stronger lemon flavor, feel free to add more lemon juice.
  7. Sip the warm lemon-ginger water slowly, enjoying the comforting warmth and zesty flavor.
