  • 1 cup Cold water Used to bloom the gelatin.
  • 1 cup Boiling water Melts the bloomed gelatin and activates its setting properties.
Flavorings
  • 1 packet Sugar-free drink mix or fresh juice Adds flavor without excess sugar.
  • to taste Stevia, honey, or maple syrup Optional sweeteners to adjust sweetness.
Optional Additions
  • as desired Optional fruit or berries Adds texture and visual appeal.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Bloom the gelatin. Sprinkle the unflavored gelatin powder or collagen evenly over 1/2 cup cold water. Let it sit for 1 to 2 minutes.
  2. Heat the second 1/2 cup water to a boil. Pour it over the bloomed gelatin while stirring until completely dissolved.
  3. Add your chosen flavoring. Stir in a sugar-free drink mix or fresh juice. Adjust sweetness with stevia, honey, or maple syrup if needed.
  4. Pour the mixture into a shallow dish or individual cups.
  5. Cool to room temperature for 10 to 20 minutes.
  6. Refrigerate for 2 to 4 hours until firm.
  7. Serve and garnish with fresh fruit or yogurt if desired.
