  • 2 tablespoons peri peri sauce The star of the dish, providing fiery kick and flavor.
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil Helps with flavor infusion and prevents sticking.
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced Adds depth and aroma.
  • 1 juice of 1 lemon Balances the heat with zesty brightness.
  • to taste salt and pepper Essential for enhancing flavors.
Main ingredient
  • 4 pieces chicken thighs Dark meat retains moisture better during cooking.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine peri peri sauce, olive oil, minced garlic, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
  2. Add chicken thighs to the marinade, ensuring they are well-coated. Let them sit for at least 15 minutes.
Cooking
  1. Preheat your air fryer or oven to 375°F (190°C). If using an oven, line a baking dish with parchment.
  2. Place marinated chicken in the air fryer basket or prepared baking dish. Cook for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through if using the oven.
  3. Check the internal temperature of the chicken; it should reach 165°F (75°C).
  4. Once cooked, remove the chicken and let it rest for 5-7 minutes before serving.
  5. Slice and serve warm, drizzling extra peri peri sauce over the top.
