Preparation
- In a mixing bowl, combine peri peri sauce, olive oil, minced garlic, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
- Add chicken thighs to the marinade, ensuring they are well-coated. Let them sit for at least 15 minutes.
Cooking
- Preheat your air fryer or oven to 375°F (190°C). If using an oven, line a baking dish with parchment.
- Place marinated chicken in the air fryer basket or prepared baking dish. Cook for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through if using the oven.
- Check the internal temperature of the chicken; it should reach 165°F (75°C).
- Once cooked, remove the chicken and let it rest for 5-7 minutes before serving.
- Slice and serve warm, drizzling extra peri peri sauce over the top.
