Preparation
- In a large bowl, combine the cake mix, vegetable oil, eggs, and vanilla extract. Stir until fully combined. If desired, fold in any mix-ins like chocolate chips or nuts.
- Set your air fryer to 350°F (175°C) to preheat while you prepare the cookie dough.
- Use a cookie scoop or spoon to form balls of dough, roughly 1.5 inches in diameter. You can place them on parchment paper for easier transfer.
- Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking oil to prevent sticking.
- Place the cookie dough balls in a single layer in the air fryer basket, leaving space in between for expansion.
Cooking
- Cook the cookies at 350°F (175°C) for 6-8 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown. Check at the 6-minute mark for doneness.
- Once done, allow the cookies to cool on a wire rack for a few minutes before indulging!
