Ingredients

  • 16 oz fresh mushrooms (button or cremini)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil (or melted butter for extra richness)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder Add more for a garlicky kick!
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning Optional, for herby flavor
  • to taste salt and pepper
  • to taste fresh parsley for garnish Optional

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Rinse the mushrooms under cool water and pat them dry with a paper towel. Trim the stems as needed.
  2. In a mixing bowl, toss the mushrooms with olive oil, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
  3. If your air fryer requires preheating, set it to 375°F (190°C).
Cooking
  1. Place the seasoned mushrooms in the air fryer basket in a single layer to allow for even cooking.
  2. Air fry for 10-12 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through for even crisping.
  3. Check for doneness; they should be golden brown and tender. Adjust the time by 1-2 minutes if needed, depending on your air fryer model.
Serving
  1. Transfer to a serving dish and garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes
