  • 4 pieces Chicken pieces (thighs, drumsticks, or breasts) Your choice of cut; thighs are juicier.
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce Store-bought or homemade, depending on your preference.
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil A light coat helps the skin crisp up.
  • to taste Salt & pepper For seasoning; feel free to add other spices to taste.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Rinse and pat dry your chicken pieces.
  2. In a bowl, drizzle olive oil over the chicken and season with salt and pepper (and any other spices you prefer).
  3. Generously coat the chicken with the BBQ sauce, making sure all sides are covered.
Cooking
  1. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for about 5 minutes.
  2. Arrange the chicken in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  3. Cook for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  4. Ensure the internal temperature of the chicken reaches 165°F (75°C).
  5. Once cooked, remove the chicken from the air fryer and add a bit more BBQ sauce if desired.
  6. Enjoy!

Notes

For deeper flavor, marinate your chicken for at least 30 minutes before cooking. Lightly coat the chicken with cornstarch to achieve a crunchier finish.
