Preparation
- Lightly season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning.
- Place chopped sun-dried tomatoes on top of the seasoned chicken.
- In a bowl, mix the heavy cream and a drizzle of olive oil. Pour the cream mixture over the chicken.
Cooking
- Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Place the chicken in the air fryer basket and cook for about 15-18 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
- For a golden finish, increase the temperature to 400°F (200°C) and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
Serving
- Allow the chicken to rest for a few minutes before slicing, making it even more tender.
- Serve with a drizzle of any remaining sauce from the air fryer and garnish with fresh basil if desired.
